Builder Benefits

Save Time
  • Complete 4 steps in 1: framing, sheathing, insulation, vapor barrier. Cut framing time by as much as 50%.
  • All components are customized to your project. No measuring, no cutting.

Save Money
  • Easier and faster to install, fewer men required result in lower labor costs.
  • Walls are over 70% lighter than traditional construction walls. Reduced line loads result in significant savings on foundation material.
  • The most efficient system available on the market - normally does not require a crane.

Save Energy
  • Energy Start Compliant panels provide effective R-value=33.
  • Insulating component (EPS) is infused between two opposing steel frames eliminating thermal bridging between framing components.
  • Insulating properties of EPS remain the same for the lifetime of a structure, unlike traditional fiberglass insulation which loses its efficiency due to compression, dust and moisture retention.

Save on Trades
  • 4 steps in 1, no blocking, no cripple studs.
  • Pre-molded wire chases minimize time spent on electrical work.
  • EPS easily cut with hot knife minimizing time spent on cutting openings in studs for plumbing.
  • Perfectly straight walls and floors minimize the job of dry liners, cabinet installers, and tilers.

Save on Callbacks
  • Exceptional dimensional stability, precise engineering result in straight walls, no popped nails, no cracks, no warps, no mildew, no moisture, no shrinkage, no expansion.
  • A composite of steel and EPS result in no mildew, no moisture.

Save on Clean-up
  • All componets and pre-cut and pre-engineered. There is virtually no waste.

Save the Planet
  • Steel and EPS components are 100% recyclable!

Easy to Install
  • Detailed shop drawings are as easy to follow as lego instructions.
  • Minimal learning curve, no special skills or tools required.
  • Accel offers FREE training of your framing crue!
  • Standard panel weighs 45 pounds.
  • Ship-lap joints and included sheet metal self tapping screws allow for quick, easy, and precise component connection.

Easy to Modify
  • Panels are easily modified in-field with standard framing tools.
  • Panels can be reduced in size, window and door openings can be adjusted in-field if needed.
  • Extra insulating material (EPS) is provided to fill in any gaps resulted from in-field modifications.
  • Our engineers are available for assistance with any questions throughout your project, or with handling of any special cases.

HAPPY CUSTOMER
  • NO termites! Termites don’t eat steel.
  • Superior to wood framing fire rating, fire retardant insulating component.
  • Better conduction rates, improved acoustics.
  • Safer in hurricane, tornado, flood, earthquake, lightning.
  • Significant savings on utility bills.

Architect Benefits

Prelimenary Design
  • Our engineers will work with Architect during the design to ensure efficient and successful final outcome.
  • If you already have architectural drawings, we will convert them for Accel bulding system.

Design Flexibility
  • Superior weight-to-strength ratio allow for longer floor spans and higher ceilings.
  • Multiple product dimensions and full customization allow for greater flexibility in framing solutions.

Superior Product
  • Superior thermal conductivity.
  • Superior structural performance.
  • Superior fire rating.
  • Superior acoustic performance.
  • Superior dimensional stability.
  • Seperior weight to strength ratio.

Tested, Approved
  • Over 25 years in the field, not hours in the lab give insulated steel panels competitive advantage.
  • Extensive structural testing has been performed by independent laboratories under ASTM E 72, C-518-76, E 96-80, E 119, E 90, E 413 to evaluate the structural integrity of the panels and to obtain building code compliance. The following tests are being regularly performed on all sizes of the panels: Axial Compressive Load Tests, Racking Shear Load Test, and Transverse Load Tests.
  • Approvals:
CC-ES (International Code Council Evaluation Services)
ICBO - (International Conference of Building Officials) under the Uniform Building Code - ICBO # PFC 4216
BOCA- (Building Offices and Code Administration) under the National Building Code - Research Report #9140
SBCCI – (Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc.) – SBCCI # 2143
HUD - (Department of Housing and Urban Development) Bulletin No. 1072
UL - (Underwriters Laboratories) under Report #NC554
HURRICANE TEST LAB INC, Broward County, FL- Passed

Occupant Benefits

Save on Utilities
  • You will save as much as 50% on utility costs! Your structure will have effective R-Value of 33 (the resistance a material has to heat flow. Higher numbers indicate greater insulating capabilities. For example, in traditional 2x6 wood framed structures effective R-Value is 13.7)
  • Traditional stick framed structure will loose its insulating properties over time due to dust and moisture retention. Due to unique features of our insulated steel panels, your structure will remain as insulated in 20 years as on day 1!

Save on Insurance
  • Steel buildings qualify for discounts on real estate insurance.

Save on Termites
  • Termites have been around for more than 240,000,000 years. They are present in 49 out of 50 states causing more damage to American houses than tornados, storms, and hurricanes COMBINED and cost Americans more than $1 billion each year.
  • At Accel we use galvanized steel as a primary building component. Terminte DO NOT eat steel!

Save on Maintenance
  • Due to superior dimensional stability your walls will not shrink, twist, move, crack; nails will not pop.
  • Since steel is not succeptible to humidity, there will be no mildew, no decay, no rotting, no creeping, no warping.

Healthier
  • Tight construction of steel homes allows for the effective use of air filtration systems that reduce the effect of external and internal pollutants.
  • Because steel framed homes are 'tightly' constructed, air filtration systems can be used effectively, to combat problems such as asthma and allergies.
  • Due to the fact that our system does not promote growth of mildew, there will be no allergies caused by mildew.

Quieter
  • Reduced sound conduction rates result in imporoved acoustics.

Safer
  • Steel does not contribute fuel to the spread of fire. The insulating component is fire retardant (in case of fire, it will melt but it will not contribute to spread of fire). Both facts results in superior fire rating.
  • Steel frame structures are lightening resistant because steel framing provides multiple conductive paths to the ground. If your steel framed home should get struck by lightning, the electrical current will pass straight into the ground.

Stronger
  • Due to the superior strength and dimentional stability of our building systems, your home will be safer in a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, or flood.

Resale Value
  • Statistically steel homes sell for more.

Tradesmen Benefits

Framers
  • Panels are light: a standard panel weights 45 pounds, reducing fatique factor.
  • Everything fits precisely: ship-lap joints and sheet metal screws allow quick and easy component connection.
  • Easy to modify: even though all components are pre-engineered and pre-cut, the system is highly flexible in-field.
  • Minimal learning curve, no special skills required.
  • Detailed shop drawings are extremely easy to follow.

Electricians
  • Pre-molded wire chases minimize time spent on electrical work.

Plumbers
  • Pre-punched service holes in the joists eliminite the need to cut holes.

Dry Liners
  • Walls are perfectly straight.

Carpenters
  • Pre-framed door and window openings allow for quick, easy and precise installation.

Tilers & Cabinet Installers
  • No fitting against squint walls/floors - walls and floors are perfectly straight and leveled, corners are perfectly square.
